The NL AIC, in cooperation with Top Sector Energy, is launching the AI awareness course on the application of AI in the energy sector: AI for Energy. A free online course that can be taken at your own time and pace. During this 11-part highly varied online course, you and other professionals will discover what AI really is and how it can help the energy sector. Using interesting tracks and fascinating cases, you will be taken into the world of AI as a (new) professional.
During this course you will learn:
- To describe what AI is
- What application possibilities of AI in the energy sector are
- What the impact may be on your work
- What ethical aspects are involved
- How technology will develop in the future.
Throughout the 11 tracks, mechanics, installers and other (new) professionals will take you through developments in AI in the energy industry. Basic concepts such as Digitalization, Energy Transition, Data, Algorithms, AI, Machine Learning and Deep Learning are explained and illustrated by experts and users in inspiring video use cases. For example, energy supplier Vandebron explains how they can accurately predict the amount of wind energy and you will discover the benefits of predictive maintenance on an offshore wind farm.
The course takes about three hours in total and there is a certificate at the end of the course.
