Technical industry

The tech industry is booming. The Dutch industry is in the midst of a digitization drive that offers many new opportunities. Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays an important role in this. Both in terms of applications and business models. It is important that the technology industry as a whole succeeds in making this move.

Technology is necessary to address some of the major societal challenges we face such as energy, environment, climate, healthcare and security. The national AI Coalition and the regions are working closely with the Smart Industry program with the goal of making the Netherlands the best learning, most flexible and best digitally integrated manufacturing network in Europe. The program offers great opportunities to promote the application of AI in Dutch industry and to better exploit the opportunities of industry-generated data.
